FROM THE PAST WEEKS

It's been a while since my weekly update. I think I missed last + last last week's right?
Yeah, so here's all of that I've missed. I know not everything is interesting and may not have to be posted up here, but I want to. Fearing that I might lose my phone one day and never to retrieve these pictures ever again. It feels safer having them documented on my blog.

1. DAY OUT WITH BITHA

Went to Nook's Pancake because I wanted to aaaaand I was craving for pancakes hehehe.
To be honest, I think McDonald serves nicer pancakes haha. Nook's focuses on the novelty of the idea that you're creating something of your own with your friends, so that's what made it fun not necessarily the quality of food.

But I've to say, the item above was damn good. No idea what it was,
we randomly ordered off the menu and I'm glad we did hahahaha.

After that we went around shopping and fooling for a little bit and guess what I saw at H&M???
A hair band. Literally a hair band. Or should I say hair extension band?
But it's damn cool. It looked pretty real, don't you think hahahaha.
Btw, in case y'all didn't know: Bitha was the photographer for my Struttt shoot hehehe

2. AUNT JIL IN SINGAPORE

This is my Aunt Jilyn. Her son, David, my cousin, is going to Germany to study soon. So they came over to spend time with us. We had a family 'reunion' dinner cause they missed us during CNY.
It's really nice though it's only a short get together.
This is probably the most awkward picture of me ever. The reason why that's so is because I haven't met or hung out with my cousin David for a very very long time. We were closer when we were younger because we went to the same primary school in Malaysia. Then, due to the distance and inconveniences, we kinda drifted apart. So it was actually pretty awkward because we both now led different lives with different interests. Though so, I'm still grateful for their visit. All the best for Germany, Dave! I'm sure you'll be fine! Write me to soon :-)

3. SHOOT WITH STUART

Finally got over being a sloth and started working again. These are the snaps taken from Stuart, the photographer's laptop; raw with no edits, raw with no make-up. Yes, no makeup. That's my very first attempt and I'd say not too bad. Still working towards going make-up free, seems impossible though.

Got booked for Style Wedding show again. I worked with the client last year and she decided to use me again. I'll forever be eternally grateful to client and opportunity like this; for recognizing and acknowledging my potential and capability.

4. MET UP WITH MANDY

It was nice seeing her again after so long. We coincidentally bumped at the Singapore Citizenship Ceremony and decided to hang out not long after. She's my junior from Yishun Town Sec.
When I was in Sec 4, she's only Sec 1!!!!! So yes, she's super young!!!
So we had the entire cinema all to ourselves hehehehehe

Har Cheong Kai Burger from Everything with Fries. So sinful. So so sinful.

5. WEEKLY WITH RUNWAY BANDITS

I must admit I've grown to love this lady. I've mentioned before several times here and there that I've now regarded Swee more than just a client; she's a really good friend and confidant. Last month, I had a pretty bad cramps after shoot. It was slightly worse than my usual cramps because I didn't take the painkiller in time. She took really good care of me after the shoot. She boiled hot water for me to drink and as heat pack for me. She bought me food. She bought me pills. She stayed by me. It's something I'd remember always. So thank you, Swee, for being so amazing.

This is definitely an non-biased feedback and not because I work for her: I truly admire Swee's work ethics. She's so meticulous and honest when it comes to checking defects etc. After seeing how much Swee cares for her brand, I realize not everything is about money. Swee's job is really a privilege cause not only it's fun, it's also what she likes to do and her passion. Lucky her, I hope I discover mine soon.

 6. DOTTINGHILL

Remember how I was crazily in love with milk few vlogs ago?
That day when this picture was taken, was the very last day I had milk.
The taste of milk now disgusts me and I just don't know why. It was just sudden that way.

Daniel is actually Shamo's friend and he asked if I wanted to help him out with Dottinghill.
It looked fun to me, so suuuuuuuureeee why not hehe.
So for those who've asked if it's adverts, no it's not.
I love the Jellyfish DJ design most amongst all

Had a really amazing two days at TripleOne Somerset. Thank you for those sweethearts who came by and said hi to me. Though I might have appeared calm, trust me on this, a storm was stirring inside me. I was soooooooo shy meeting all of you guys! Daniel saw how I blushed after you guys left.
Thank you for being such a sweet sweet bunch. See ya around soon hehehe :')

7. MOONCAKE/LANTERN FESTIVAL

Sparklers so pretty, I can't even...

Girls, I'm so glad we made this a yearly thing.
To more years to come hehehe. Love you guys.

8. JODY'S PARTY + F1

So my friend, Jody invited us to his place at The Sail. It was pretty difficult to get there, due to the unforeseen roadblocks on Google Maps. It'd be so so amazing if Google Maps were updated with such interruptions. Above it all, I met a creepy cab uncle who constantly turned back to glance at me and sheepishly told me that I've nice voice...... whuuuuuuuuuut uncle "let me get out of the cab already"

It was an absolutely amazing Sunday night. Jody has a pretty awesome bunch of friends and we played this broad game that I'll definitely purchase cause it's so so fun!!!! SNAKE OIL! Has anyone played it before? If no, go and hunt for it! It's major fun. Heard it's only sold at underground board game stores, I will definitely find itttttttttttttttttt no matter what!!!! So that it'll be useful for my birthday party hiakhiak.

9. BEFORE MARC GOES TO PERTH

Don't stare. Stop looking. Stop staring at Marc's short, if you were. Honestly in real life, it looked totally okay. The photos just somehow made it look odd. We only realized the color contrast after looking at the picture. Otherwise, we wouldn't have so yeah haha.
So yes, we had our brunch at Coastal Settlement.
I've been wanting to go since foreverrrrrrrr~ and I'm so glad it's with Marc.
Marc has always been spontaneous. The very first time we hung out, we had crabs at Cajun Kings.
All dirty and messy. So basically, the definition of unglam doesn't exist between us anymore hahaha.

 Intense photo shoot session hahahaha

After meal, we decided to head to the playground to plaaaaaaaaaay~
Actually it's not we, it was my idea but look at how happy Marc was!!!!!
HIAKHIAKHIAK I DON'T EVER WANNA GROW UP PLEASE

After Coastal Settlement, we went to check out the villa I booked for my birthday!!!!
It's so so so SO niiiiiiice!!! Thank you so much Eugene for helping me to book it.
I love it so so much. I am looking forward to it already. November, come quick hehehe!

10. DANIAL'S BIRTHDAY

After working with Daniel at Dottinghill for two days, we get along really well and he invited Shamo and I to his birthday party!!! Yaaaaayyyy it was the Adventure Time theme!

THE BIRTHDAY BOY.
SOMETHING RANDOM BUT DANIEL HAS BEST PARENTS EVER.
LIKE REALLY. I TRULY ADORE HIS PARENTS.
HANDMADE EH!!!! So so nice and cuuuuutttteeeee hehehe

Shamo has a diaper on her head so cute hiakhiak

Thank you so much Daniel for the invite.
Now, look forward to November and save November 14 for me!!!

Here's the compilation of videos that happen to be in my phone hahaha. I was watching this over and over again when I was editing, made me realize how much I really really enjoy the company I have in my life. I'm so blessed. Thank you all my beautiful friends :')

OK BYE TIME TO SLEEP NOW OMG 3AM
